Univest Expands Commercial Banking Team in Central PA

Univest Bank and Trust Co. continues to expand its commercial banking team in the Central Pennsylvania region with the addition of two commercial lenders, Justin Conner and Emily Doxzon. These experienced lenders will serve the commercial banking needs of businesses in York County as well as expanding Univest’s footprint into Cumberland and Dauphin Counties. In addition to its regional headquarters in Lancaster, Univest is in the early stages of exploring locations for offices that will support further growth of the teams serving this region.

Justin Conner joins as vice president, Cumberland and Dauphin County market leader. He has more than 22 years of experience in the financial services industry most recently serving as a vice president and business loan officer for Members 1st Federal Credit Union. Conner is active in his local community as a coach for youth baseball and basketball teams. Additionally, he serves on the board of directors for Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area. He was born and raised in suburban Harrisburg where he currently resides with his two children.

Emily Doxzon brings more than eight years of experience in the financial services industry to her position as vice president, commercial relationship manager. She most recently served as vice president and commercial relationship officer for PeoplesBank. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Millersville University. Doxzon is active in the local community serving as a member of the Rotary Club of Red Lion-Dallastown, on the York Academy Regional Charter School Foundation Board of Trustees and the Penn-Mar Human Services Self-Employment Council. She also volunteers with Junior Achievement of South Central PA and the Women’s Business Center Organization, a program of the York County Economic Alliance. Doxzon, her husband and four daughters reside on their family farm in Stewartstown, Pa.

Since Univest entered the Lancaster market in May 2016, the staff has more than tripled and Univest has invested in developing a physical presence throughout the region. Univest now employs more than 50 people in the Lancaster community between its Greenfield Corporate Center and five financial centers located in Brownstown, Georgetown, Intercourse, Strasburg and Willow Street.
