Univest Bank and Trust Co. recently announced the appointment of Paul Willits as Assistant Vice President and Agricultural Lending Relationship Manager. Univest is the 55th largest agricultural lender in the country as of the third quarter of 2020 according to the American Bankers Association. Willits grew up on a crop farm in Illinois and brings extensive experience in agriculture to his role. He also has experience working with agricultural machinery, feed production and agronomy. Willits will serve as a trusted banking resource to help those in the Central PA agriculture industry achieve their financial goals.
Prior to joining Univest, Willits was an agri-business banking relationship manager for M&T Bank. Previously, he held financial positions at Wenger Feeds and Case New Holland. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Western Illinois University. Willits is actively involved in his community and currently serves as a member of Lancaster Farmland Trust and the Lebanon Farm City committee.

I enjoy long distance running (e.g., marathons) and spending time with my family.

I grew up on a corn and soybean farm in Illinois where my family still farms about 2,500 acres.
