While there is appropriately a widespread commitment to promoting the importance of reading, there is frankly a lack of dedication to financial literacy which can have a detrimental impact on a person’s future. Jim Tyrrell recently joined Univest as Executive Vice President, Corporate Banking, with more than 40 years of experience in the financial services industry. Jim specializes in commercial and industrial lending, real estate lending, working capital solutions as well as coaching and managing professional sales teams that service commercial businesses. A veteran of CoreStates Bank, Wachovia Bank and Citizens Bank, Jim most recently served as Director of Commercial Lending for Beneficial Bank.
