On the heels of many events highlighting the importance of reading in honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday in March, April is Financial Literacy month. While there is appropriately a widespread commitment to promoting the importance of reading, there is frankly a lack of dedication to financial literacy which can have a detrimental impact on a person’s future.
